Modern Survey Adds Consulting Talent, Bruce Campbell

as a senior consultant. Campbell has over 25 years of experience in survey tools and consulting to improve organizational

Analysis Phase Starts Following
Campus Climate Survey at University of St. Thomas
(Minneapolis)—The “Opinion Survey on Campus
Climate” initiated at the end of April by the University
of St. Thomas queried campus staff, students and faculty and produced
a valid data set for analysis. The survey built upon
prior efforts that began in 1995. Global Lead recommended Modern

data collection, reporting and analytics.

of St. Thomas to Ask About Campus Climate

Climate” was initiated today by the University of St. Thomas
to continue charting a successful path in the area of diversity.
Use of an online survey tool along with study methodology
improvements track changes over a previously conducted study.
University President Father Dennis Dease stated in a university-wide
communication, “Understanding students, faculty and staff
perceptions of our environment will be invaluable in assisting
us to structure programs and initiatives that target the real
barriers and challenges.”

to Attend World Expo

World Expo in Hong Kong. The Expo will take place November
29 through December 1, 2006. The Hong Kong Trade Development Council
(TDC) organizes the exhibition to connect Small and Medium-Sized
Enterprises (SME) and service providers as a showcase of services
and business solutions.

(Minneapolis)—Modern Survey President Don MacPherson will be a featured speaker at the Minnesota State Society of Human Resource Management annual conference. His lecture is set to take place on October 16 at 4:30 p.m. MacPherson will present an interactive and intriguing view of best practices for 360-degree feedback, ways to avoid “360-degree Spin” and guidance on how to aggregate the data for use at an organizational level.
